BUSHIDO STEEL

Only the winter wind surrounds me
Soldiers do not come to look for death
inside this cave
My sword's calligraphy is perfect
brush of steel
Red ink on white snow.

Bruce Louis Dodson is an American expat living in Borlänge, Sweden, where he practices photography and writes fiction and poetry.
