1 Poem by Mark Senkus

ACCUMULATION

with age the years
tend to become
the thunder rolling
off in the distance

your accumulated
life becomes
the foggy storm
seemingly miles away

if you stare and squint
you might sometimes
see the faint glow
of thin lightning
out toward that far
horizon.
