An iceberg, blazing blue, slides
through a folded Greenland fjord.
An Arctic Tern tears by,
its travails are set in wing.
A hooded seal molts as it
mauls a silvered body bare.
Iceberg, bird and mammal face
another day of work and closer to their end –
over a blabescent sea, all-phasing.
a daily melt of undercurrents on earth –
innocent as we.
