1 Poem by Inna Dulchevsky

At the Dusk of Day

I wonder if the ray of light
Can reach beyond
Its own existence
Float its invisible appearance
Break heaviness of water
Warm up a straight standing stone
Behind its iron fence
Soul’s heaven         lonely
Silent place
that I will own at last

It outlines my silhouette
It kisses first    then
Seals the wrinkles on my face
Around eyes      and sets them
Deep within its own expression
Presented in the reflection at the
Surface of a polished mirror
Same cold
just like an image of my stone
