1 Poem by Megan DiBello

Do sluts have confidence?

When summer is about to unbutton my shirt
I think of winter never wanting to make love to me
I think of the time where more clothes = hide more skin
I tell him you wear clothing 30% of the time and are naked
Now in a classroom, in sleep, in shower
70% of the time
Summer allergies to cotton, silk, and wool
I use about an inch of my knuckle to move my eyeball against my lid
Summer hasn’t taught me how to wear my eyes naked
Sometimes the skin is all we see
