1 Poem by J. J. Campbell

bitterness

i pretend it doesn't
hurt that my father
chose to die than
ever talk to me
again

i'm not exactly
sure what kind
of alcohol goes
best with bitterness

these long nights
in the void

there is a certain
bravery in allowing
the weird to wash
over you

depression can't
get any darker
now

Bionote
