SPARKLING BLUEBELLS
And talking of the ever widening gap
Between the sheer numerical taut strength
Of the leaders highranked and the rank and file led,
The vast expanse of space and land for lonely leaders
And the cramped ground on which multitudes thrive,
For every one who’s born to lead head high
We’ve millions in line ready to tail.
You’d think there is a fanclub right at birth
Ready installed set.
SEASON CHANGE
Lazy for ever so long ,
To threaded hints obtuse,
Steeped in slippery slush lubricities ,
Quite sudden like those unveilings
Of lookers-on glazed statues,
As all that well-stored produce,
Still camphorladen , unaired all,
Is obligingly without a murmur,
Put at once to use.
