1 Poem by Joel Schueler

I Lost You Somewhere

Where were you in dreams of the shore?
Where were you in the hours before?
Sitting, writhing, eating away
I lost you somewhere close by,
Or was it me and my heady eye
I searched and searched and searched,
But all along it was surely I
Up above the clouds of lead.
You swam amongst the starry sky
So
Capture me once again
And disperse my heart up high
