1 Poem by Jeffrey L. Taylor

 Chemo Mindfulness

Now my mind is slowed
  in thought, in memory,
in remembering location
  and direction.

Here is the gap that mindfulness
  teaches, where karma stops,
pauses, offers a new path
  where previously
there was none.

I have been offered this gift, gratis.
  Others have struggled for years
on and off the cushion to find.

To whom or what do I give thanks?
