Darkness trumpled our world
two terms ago
and we the people bore witness
to a new reality
that seeded a shadow to twice
darken a re-term
proof that rot knows the center
of pain's core.
Defining Moment
Comfort is not my home.
Home is a state of mind.
Mind is central to my existence.
Existence is what connects time to body.
Body is all I have in the present.
Present is revelation of self in the absence
of comfort.
I am homeless.
