1 Poem by Alan Meyrowitz

RAINBOWS

Rain has decency to fall
beneath a darkened sky

nature’s empathy for this,
our time of sorrows

Hint of sun to follow
belied by tensions rife below—
only random happenstance
of reconciliation

Still, we yearn for rainbows
