3 Poems by Laurie Corzett

Day Dream

It was a warm and windy day,
bittersweet in springtime,
the trees, newly leaved,
swayed in the warm, sweet melody.
It was a day to kick stones
along a riverbank and dream,
before a night of jukebox music and cokes
at the local diner.
What kind of day are you?

Laurie Corzett. Making an inventory of my life, thinking I had done nothing to speak of, no big successes that really made sense, then, I realized I had all this work done over the decades, a lot online to share -- a vast trove of experiences and life lessons.
