1 Poem by Paul Bamberger

I ONCE ASKED HANNAH ARENDT FOR A DANCE

you who have something
you don’t want to say
let your words drift
in shadows
that aren’t there
let your re-inventions
tell your story
drumbeat silence
drives you
play your cards right
come out even
sigh of relief
be warned
she’s a promise
meant to be kept
