1 Poem by James B. Nicola

Spiral 2

As I expand
I condense; and

While I live, I’m
Dying, in time.

An arrow rives
My soul, or heart

Right through,
And out both ends:

One way, toward forever;
The other, into me—

And strangely,
Interchangeably.
